Systemic Improvement (Managerial)
Global Secure Training continually refines its management practices to
ensure that all elements of the program are being managed
to the finest details. Global Secure Training continues to utilize proven
technical, cost, and personnel management techniques that
have been refined through 19 years of doing business with
the Government on similar/like delivery order type contracts.
Technical management is further enhanced by the on-site presence
of the Project Manager. This, in addition to, monthly contract
deliverables concerning all aspects of Hazardous Material
Warehousing/Waste Control/Spill Response provides for a continuous
technical monitoring tool. In addition, monthly cost reporting
derived from actual timesheets on a bi-monthly basis, provided
for continuous cost-control measures. Personnel management
is performed daily by the aforementioned on-site presence
of the Project Manager who has a direct line of communication
with the appropriate sources within Global Secure Training for full management
support and assistance
Management has instituted five separate metrics to evaluate
its effectiveness in meeting the goals of the contract. While
not required under the current contract, the Navy has come
to depend on these metrics for project evaluations and we
propose to continue this practice under this solicitation.
